Immigration
Immigration is in the news, nationally as well as locally, and the League intends to keep the topic on the front burner for League members throughout the year. Our local League is currently participating in the National study of Immigration policy and issues, with consensus meetings for League members to be held January 10th and 24th. At the conclusion of the national study, our committee will begin a study of local immigration and its impact on healthcare services and arrestee status issues.
