Thursday, November 08, 2007	6:30pm	Children and Family Services Center 601 E 5th Street Charlotte, NC 28202	Domestic Violence Awareness. The Women's Issues Committee will host an evening dedicated to issues related to domestic violence. It will involve presenting the finding from our Domestic Violence Civil Court Study coordinated by UNCC professor Dr. Jen Hartman and a viewing of Kit Gruelle's documentary "Private Violence, The Movement Against Battering in America." Both Dr. Hartman and Kit Gruelle will be presenting at this event. This event will be considered a general League of Women Voters meeting.
